We are extremely proud to have devised a new brand identity for a property development that will help redefine one of the most recognisable skylines in the world.

The new identity for St James Quarter, Edinburgh, a retail site acquired by Henderson Global Investors, set for redevelopment until 2014, was evolved over several weeks by the Zebra Crossing team, lead by Luke Hammersley and including work by designers Rory Seaford and Chris Trotman.

The identity has been rolled into a variety of literature for use with planning applications, consultation processes, press activity and corporate stationary alongside a new content managed website (using Drupal) designed and built by the Zebra Crossing Digital team. See: www.stjamesquarter.info.

Zebra Crossing were appointed by Henderson’s PR & communications agency Halogen.

The Chartered Institute of Housing Conference & Exhibition is one of the biggest events of the year for people involved in the development of affordable housing in the UK.  Held over 3 days in Harrogate each June, the event is preceded for attendees by the delivery of a series of magazines containing thought leadership, industry news articles and advertising. Zebra Crossing rebranded the event, created 2 magazines, the main event guide, a range of editorial and advertorial content for use in third party publications and three stages of direct mail. It was a busy time!

In addition to this we worked with Foxland, one of our partner agencies, to develop a content managed website that had a range of interactive features including a booking system, automated conference planner and video footage.

Zebra Crossing were commissioned by the property PR agency Halogen to help devise a new brand identity for ‘The Upper Lee Valley’ a public sector venture to promote development and investment into this area of London, which runs from Liverpool Street, northwards along the Lee Valley, into Hertfordshire.

Starting with a brand workshop involving representatives from The Mayor’s Office, Halogen and the three London Boroughs, we went on to devise a brand that reflected the landscape of the area as a green corridor, the goals of the organisation and a sense of growth for the future.

Zebra Crossing design and digital teams then created a  short series of literature to launch the scheme and a website. The project included the commissioning of a series of stunning photographs that showcase the natural beauty of the area, provided by one of our partner suppliers, Joel Anderson Photography.
