We’ve been very busy over the last year and now, in full colour and stereophonic sound, we give you the glorious beast that is our new showreel.
It includes both our original commercial and corporate productions as well as some of our vast amount of reversioning work.

Zebra’s Summer Showreel
Monday, July 5th, 2010Found: Brilliant Make-up Artist
Sunday, June 14th, 2009Just have to say a quick word about our latest find on the crew side; on two of our latest shoots (which we’ll write about in due course) we were lucky enough to have a new (to Zebra) make-up artist on board. Michelle Jackson, who somehow had managed to elude us during her years of working, did an exemplary job both on a four-person corporate film and a glamour-model shoot.
Anyone who needs a make-up artist, send us an email at the usual address and we’ll put you in touch.
Just make sure you don’t book her when we need her. That would annoy us.
STEEL – The Digital Communications Agency
Sunday, July 20th, 2008Zebra Crossing were commissioned by STEEL to produce a business-to-business marketing showreel of their services.
Messages were carefully constructed and delivered by key staff on Stage 5 at Ealing Studios while additional footage was captured over two days in STEEL’s Wandsworth studio and around the capital.
Directed by Nic Franklin and produced by Luke Hammersley, the film was shot on HDCAM by Joel Anderson and Marc Cayford.
An original score was composed by Luke Hammersley, and to give the track a contemporary and urban feel we decided to record the track with the addition of The Standards.
Chartered Institute of Housing – Rebrand & Advertising
Monday, June 23rd, 2008
The Chartered Institute of Housing Conference & Exhibition is one of the biggest events of the year for people involved in the development of affordable housing in the UK. Held over 3 days in Harrogate each June, the event is preceded for attendees by the delivery of a series of magazines containing thought leadership, industry news articles and advertising. Zebra Crossing rebranded the event, created 2 magazines, the main event guide, a range of editorial and advertorial content for use in third party publications and three stages of direct mail. It was a busy time!
In addition to this we worked with Foxland, one of our partner agencies, to develop a content managed website that had a range of interactive features including a booking system, automated conference planner and video footage.
Portillo Meets
Wednesday, February 13th, 2008Through our ongoing relationship as a supplier of media services with the multinational consulting, technology and outsourcing company Capgemini plc, we are in production of a series of interviews with Michael Portillo (former secretary of state for defence) and several of Capgemini’s largest clients. The 7 minute episodes are a chance for Michael, who acts as an advisor to Capgemini, to discuss the work they have delivered with the clients, finding out how it has changed the organisation and it’s people, and what it means to work with such a high profile delivery partner. Chief Executives from government and the private sector share their thoughts with Michael, the first episodes are now available to view from the Capgemini UK website with more to follow shortly.

Capgemini Christmas DVD No 2
Monday, December 18th, 2006Following last year’s successful production of a Capgemini Christmas message, delivered on DVD in a Christmas card to all employees, we have again been commissioned to devise a fun but informative film for the comapny.
Spinning off an earlier production where we took two employees and set them up as talk show hosts, we again use these two characters, this time in a mock up of one of their homes, an ostentatious Georgian building in Grenwich. In a Christmas scene there are visited by various ‘guests’ from within the business who share their news from the year, often interrupted by the drunken butler, brilliantly played by one of the companies senior executives. There is also a cameo from the CEO who appears as a fortune telling gypsy, telling of things to come in 2007.
It is a pleasure to work with a company willing to have fun and engage with their workers on such an accessible level. Well done to all the talented Capgemini people involved.
Capgemini CCTV
Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006Once again we partner with Capgemini, this time to produce a set of 5 x 10 minute films to be used at Capgemini’s CCTV event. The films all mimic the style of popular television shows, and were screened thoughout the morning at the CCTV event for all London consultants (approx 3000). Starting with the morning news, filmed at spotlight studios and hosted by two of the executive team we moved through chat shows, Panorama style factual reporting, an episode of friends and diary room scenes a la Big Brother. A project where the clients were fantastic at embracing the idea of video as a fun communication tool to deliver serious content.
Capgemini Christmas Message
Tuesday, December 20th, 2005Video production and 2D animated sequences of a sparkling, alpine Capgemini Christmas landscape. We glide through the snow amongst the trees taking the point of view of a skier as we arrive at a tree with baubles representing the various business sectors. The client used the film to talk to their 2000 consultants about the year’s performance and vision for the coming year.
Capgemini / Her Majesty’s Customs & Excise Video Production
Wednesday, August 10th, 2005Cutting interview footage of one of Capgemini’s highest profile clients, HMRC, with the views of consultants from within the project team we created a film that showcased the use of the ‘Accelerated Solutions Environment’ (ASE). The ASE is Capgemini’s innovative project environment, a tailored physical space and way of working that delivers accelerated results, in this case a large ERP implementation programme.
